WMUK enhances the civic, cultural and intellectual life of the
community. To continue this mission, WMUK needs tools to make it
viable in an era of rapid technological change.
WMUK completed the "Envisioning the Future" capital campaign at the
end of 2003. A goal of $1.1 million was achieved thanks to many
listeners and local foundations. The Equipment Endowment has a good
start with a total of approximately $40,000. Only the interest will
be available for future equipment needs. The principal continues to
grow in perpetuity for WMUK's future. Several planned gifts
provided through wills and estates are currently pending for this
fund.
