Battle Creek Commission considers regulations on Medical Marijuana related businesses (August 20, 2010) The city of Battle Creek, is trying to decide what regulations are needed for businesses related to Medical Marijuana. State voters approved a law in 2008 that allows the use of marijuana for medicinal purposes. The city currently has a six month moratorium on new businesses related to medical marijuana that started in July.

Marshall center rescues wildlife from the Kalamazoo River oil spill (August 15, 2010) When Enbridge Energy's "6-B" pipeline spilled a massive amount of crude oil into the Kalamazoo River last month, wildlife in the area were the first to be affected. As efforts to protect human health began, so did a campaign to save wild animals based at a wildlife rescue center in Marshall, as WMUK's Andy Robins reports.
