The Battle Creek Community Chorus and Ars Voce are collaborating to present an ambitious program celebrating American composers this Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Battle Creek. 

Governor Rick Snyder is calling for the business and education communities to work together to prepare students to enter the job market. He opened his education summit Monday in East Lansing saying the education system is broken. 

The Executive Director of the Food Bank of South Central Michigan says it's been "the greatest job in the world." Bob Randels plans to retire from that job early next year. 

Bach Festival Week in Kalamazoo continues tonight with an organ crawl around Bronson Park, tomorrow with a Bach sing-along prepped by three choral conductors, and concludes with a "Bach's Lunch Concert" Wednesday at noon.
