Men's tennis 

Western Michigan University has won its second straight Mid-American Conference championship. The Broncos defeated the host Northern Illinois 4-3 Saturday in DeKalb. Western earned an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament with the win, they will find out their opponent on Tuesday.

Fontana Chamber Arts presents cellist Suren Bagratuni, violinist Dmitri Berlinsky, and pianist Lori Sims in an all-French recital tonight at 7:30 pm. Cara Lieurance spoke with Dr. Bagratuni, who says it takes extra effort to maintain performance skills while teaching full-time at a major university.

Three homes, two commercial buildings and a prominent Kalamazoo business owner will get historic preservation awards next month. The city's Historic Preservation Commission announced the winners on Friday, April 26th.

New figures from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation show a snapshot of health in Michigan. Bridge Magazine looked into the numbers and found great disparity in the state. They also found some numbers can be deceiving.
