Many in southwest Michigan are still without power after severe storms moved through the area last night.

Consumers Energy says about 20,000 customers are still without power in Calhoun County Tuesday afternoon. Power is also out for more than 5800 customers in Kalamazoo County and more than 1600 in Saint Joseph County.

Other outages are scattered throughout the region. Midwest Energy Cooperativesays 5800 of its customers are still without power this afternoon. Indiana Michigan Power says more than 31,000 of its Michigan customers are without service, with the highest concentration of outages in Berrien and Cass Counties.
