Michigan Public Service Commission approves refund for natural gas customers

The Michigan Public Service Commission has approved a refund for Consumers Energy’s natural gas customers.

A news release from the MPSC says a refund of nearly 1.6-million dollars was approved because a rate increase implemented by the utility was more than the final amount approved by the commission. The refund will be reflected in customers’ bills in March.
