Scott Cowan Debuts Six Original Jazz Works At WMU

Scott Cowan joins Cara Lieurance to talk about the premiere of six new works for jazz ensembles ranging from quintet to octet. Together they listen to tracks from his most recent album, Jack's Place, and Dr. Cowan describes his aesthetic as a composer and teacher. They also discuss his journey to northern Ireland on a Fulbright scholarship, which gave inspiration to a future project, titled "Emerald Suite."
