Edward Montgomery will become Western Michigan University's ninth president on August first. As he prepares to succeed John Dunn, we present a rebroadcast of our interview with Montgomery from May. 

Edward Montgomery has had a long career in higher education, most recently as Dean of the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University. He also held posts in the Obama and Clinton administrations. Montgomery becomes Western Michigan University's ninth president on August first. He succeeds John Dunn, who is retiring after 10 years leading Western.

Gordon Evans became WMUK's Content Director in 2019 after more than 20 years as an anchor, host and reporter. A 1990 graduate of Michigan State, he began work at WMUK in 1996.
