On WestSouthwest, a Kalamazoo Central High School student discusses the online petition calling for action on gun violence. And Democrat Paul Clements tells us why he has launched another campaign for Congress.

Kalamazoo Central High School senior Jenna Bowker is part of the group Students for Gun Legislation, which drafted an online petition calling for action on guns. The change.org petition now has more than 200,000 signatures. Bowker tells us how the petition got drafted and what the students hope happens next.

Paul Clements was the Democratic candidate for Michigan's 6th Congressional district in 2014 and 2016. He is hoping to challenge Republican Congressman Fred Upton again this fall. But five other candidates are seeking the Democratic nomination. Clements tells us why decided to run again, and why "it's great" that more Democrats are in the race this year.
