LANSING - Support for Gov. Rick Snyder remains well below 50% but was not significantly affected by the controversy over right-to-work legislation he signed into law in December, according to a new survey from Michigan State University.
Governor Snyder is calling for further discussion of renewable energy mandate. The governor delivered his special message on energy and the environment Wednesday at the Kellogg Biological Station in Hickory Corners.
Jim Dulzo with the Michigan Land Use Institute told WMUK’s Gordon Evans that he is pleased that he is glad that the governor wants to explore increasing the renewable energy standard.
But Dulzo says Snyder needs to demonstrate bold leadership on the issue to make Michigan a leader in clean and renewable energy.
