A federal judge in Detroit is to hear arguments today in what could be a landmark case challenging Michigan's ban on same-sex marriage. April DeBoer and Jayne Rowse of Hazel Park are seeking to overturn the ban, which was written into the Michigan Constitution in 2004 after 59% of voters approved a ballot question limiting marriage to one man and one woman.
