Subcommittee doesn't approve $1.2 billion road repairs

KALAMAZOO, MI -- Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in downtown Kalamazoo likely won't open until September, instead of the initial targeted opening of summer. League and Kennedy said they had hoped to open the theater in June or July but it likely won't open until September, due to the amount of construction, hiring and other work that needs to be done.
