Andy Robins has been WMUK's News Director since 1998 and a broadcast journalist for over 24 years. He joined WMUK's staff in 1985. Under his direction, WMUK has received numerous awards for news reporting.

As the renewed debate over immigration reform unfolds in Washington, thousands of undocumented immigrants still try to cross the border with Mexico. A humanitarian group in Arizona says many are at risk of dying from thirst, starvation, or attacks by criminals. Representatives of No Más Muertes/No More Deaths will talk about the issue in Kalamazoo Wednesday, February 13th.

The offending books were destroyed. Library officials say it isn't known when the Washington Square branch will re-open.

The dispensary's owner says he's closing for now on the advice of his lawyer after a ruling Friday by the Michigan Supreme Court.

They’re often forced into prostitution or other sex work, or other jobs, against their will. A Kalamazoo woman hopes to make a dent in that modern form of slavery, at least in southwest Michigan.
