Current and former Fontana directors on 'A Salute to Neill'

WMUK

The 'Salute to Neill' tribute to Fontana founder Neill Sanders is an annual tradition for the Fontana Summer Festival.

This year, Fontana director David Baldwin invited a former director, pianist Paul Nitsch, to appear on the program.

The past and present directors discuss the history of Fontana with Cara Lieurance. They also discuss the bright futures of the five young musicians who complete the program: horn player Adedeji Ogunfolu and the Omer Quartet.

Cara Lieurance is the local host of NPR's All Things Considered on 1021 WMUK and covers local arts & culture on Let's Hear It on 89.9 Classical WMUK weekday mornings at 10 - 11 am.
