Incumbent Congressional Candidates Hold Money Advantage for Final Weeks

Campaign finance reports show incumbent Congressional candidates hold a large fundraising advantage of their challengers. 

The Michigan Campaign Finance Network's analysis of campaign finance reports shows Congressional candidates have raised a total of nearly $26-million. In West Michigan races, Congressman Fred Upton has $1.6-million, compared to $127,000 for Democratic challenger Paul Clements. 

Congressman Justin Amash has $476,000, while his Democratic challenger Bob Goodrich has a little over $10,000.
