The choristers of the Kalamazoo Children's Chorus, ages 7 - 17, have made Zoom their new practice room since early September, says director Taylor Gudbrandson. The work of forging personal connections through music development has continued, even with muted screens and on-screen cameos by a pet chinchilla.
After rehearsing and recording their parts, it was up to Gudbrandson and her staff to edit the performances together for the Fall Cabaret, titled Messages of Hope. She tells Cara Lieurance about the program and how to find it online. It's available until Nov 30. Gudbrandson says a Winter Cabaret will be released on Dec 23.
