The Holiday Season officially arrives in Kalamazoo on Saturday, November 20, with a big parade downtown.

Now known as the Maple Hill Holiday Parade because of its sponsor, the annual event will bring back bands, big balloons, floats, and Santa’s first stop in town this season.

Kalamazoo City Commissioner Jeanne Hess says, "Let's celebrate our community. Bring the kids. There's going to be balloons. There's going to be fun. There's going to be a good feeling in Kalamazoo."

Hess says the annual parade is one of the things that makes the city special.
