Kellogg Foundation hires new CEO, promotes from within

W.K. Kellogg Foundation

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation says executive vice president and treasurer LaJune Montgomery Tabron will become CEO next year. 

The Battle Creek-based foundation announced Monday that Tabron will begin her new duties January first. She has spent 26 years with the Kellogg Foundation, beginning as controller. 

She will replace Sterling Speirn who is stepping down at the end of the year. 

Gordon Evans became WMUK's Content Director in 2019 after more than 20 years as an anchor, host and reporter. A 1990 graduate of Michigan State, he began work at WMUK in 1996.
