'My Fair Lady' Will Open Kalamazoo Civic's 86th Season

Erik Holladay

Actor and director Ben Zylman, who serves as marketing director of the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre, describes some of the elements that make Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's  My Fair Lady a timeless classic.

With a score sparkling with hummable tunes and witty wordplay, the Kalamazoo Civic's 86th season opener features Civic veterans Dan Coyne and Elizabeth Stone as Professor Higgins and Eliza Doolittle. Mr. Zylman talks about both the on-stage cast and those who work behind the scenes, emphasizing the importance of cooperation in music theatre.
