(MPRN-Detroit) Gov. Rick Snyder found himself bombarded with questions about Flint’s water crisis as he toured the North American International Auto Show on Tuesday.
Before the governor could offer opening remarks to reporters about the auto show, reporters began peppering Snyder with Flint-related questions.
Snyder highlighted the state’s ongoing efforts to help Flint residents deal with unsafe drinking water.
“The goal is to get to every household in Flint, in terms of making sure they have an opportunity for a filter, for blood tests, for what they need in terms of water to be successful while we go through this period, until we have a long term solution,”
he said. Snyder told reporters that efforts to get federal money to address lead levels in Flint’s water were not delayed. And he said the crisis will not define his legacy as governor.
