Some Flooded Roads Reopen

The city of Kalamazoo issued an updated map this morning, June 21, of downtown streets closed due to flooding.

Some flooded downtown Kalamazoo roads have reopened. Here's a map the city of Kalamazoo issued this morning. Closed roads are indicated in yellow. Note that the map is subject to change, so keep checking the link below.

The city of Kalamazoo's Stockbridge Avenue office only is closed today because of flooding, and is scheduled to reopen on Monday, the city says. The courthouse at Crosstown Parkway in downtown Kalamazoo has been forced to close as well. Cases will be moved to the Michigan Avenue courthouse.

The National Weather Service has extended the Flood Advisory for Barry, Calhoun and Kalamazoo counties until 11:15 a.m. Friday, June 21.

There's a Flood Warning through 2 p.m. Thursday, June 27 for the Portage River near Vicksburg affecting Kalamazoo County.
