Vice-President Mike Pence flew into Kalamazoo on Wednesday, December 4, for a three-city campaign swing. It comes hot on the heels of a vote by Democrats in the U.S. House to adopt an impeachment report.

Pence's trip includes private meetings and a rally in Holland but no opportunities for reporters to ask questions.

The bus tour did include a private session with some Kalamazoo-area religious leaders, private fundraisers,  a stop in Grand Rapids, and the public rally in Holland. In Holland, Pence called the impeachment hearings a "disgrace." He told supporters that "Michigan and America need four more years of President Donald Trump in the White House." (Report from WGVU

Air Force Two landed at the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport during the noon hour Wednesday. Pence greeted invited guests at Duncan Aviation, then jumped on a Trump campaign bus and was whisked away.

The Kalamazoo Gazette says Pence spoke to about 50 supporters at the Valley Family Church in Portage during his visit.
