The race for state Senate in Kalamazoo County turned out to be one of the closest in the state.
Republican State Representative declared victory in the early hours of the morning with unofficial vote totals showing her 60 votes ahead of Democratic Representative Sean McCann.
McCann's campaign said that they would weigh all options, that could include seeking a recount.
