Michigan lawmakers react to the latest developments in investigations of the Trump administration. Michigan's unemployment rate drops slightly in April. WMU football to play at Michigan State in 2019. 

Grand Rapids Congressman Justin Amash says impeachment is a possibility if reports of President Trump putting pressure on FBI Director James Comey are true. (The Hill). St. Joseph Republican Fred Upton issued a statement supporting the appointment of former FBI Director Robert Mueller as Special Counselor to investigate Russian influence in the 2016 election.  (Upton statement). U.S. Senator Gary Peters also calls Mueller's appointment "a good first step." (Peters Statement)

Michigan's unemployment rate dropped in April. The seasonally adjusted jobless rate dropped three-tenths of a percent to 4.7%. The April unemployment rate was two-tenths of a percent lower than it was in April of last year. (Michigan Department of Technology, Management

Western Michigan University will play at Michigan State during the 2019 football season. The Broncos and Spartans have played every other year since 2013. Western will receive $1-million for the game in East Lansing. (WMU Athletics)
