Former Calhoun County Commissioner Jim Haadsma is running again for state House. The Democrat will run for the seat currently held by Republican John Bizon, who is running for state Senate. Republican Pennfield Township Supervisor Dave Morgan is also running running for the 62nd district seat that includes Battle Creek. (Battle Creek Enquirer)
Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette says Michigan State University should release results of an internal investigation into gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar. The doctor who also worked by the U.S. Gymnastics team has plead guilty to charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct. (Detroit News)
