On this edition of WestSouthwest, an interview with Kalamazoo Valley Community College President Marilyn Schlack and a group helping communities prepare for the impact of climate change. 

Kalamazoo Valley Community College President Marilyn Schlack says the college's new healthy living campus will offer programs you won't find anywhere else in the nation. In an interview with WMUK's Gordon Evans and Kalamazoo Gazette Reporter Emily Monacelli, Schlack also discusses affordability, training for skilled workers and her legacy after more than 30 years leading KVCC. 

The group Resilient Michigan is working with five communities in Michigan to prepare for the impacts of climate change. Those include St. Joseph and Grand Haven. They plan to begin work soon with Holland. Community Planners Harry Burkholder and Clare Karner talk with WMUK's Gordon Evans about the group's work and future plans.
