Stephen John and Joseph Barnett joined us in May to discuss the NeoVent. The two developed the device while students at Western Michigan University to help premature babies in underdeveloped countries. It was recently announced that they have won the national James Dyson Award. It's given for design, technology and engineering education.
Retired Eastern Michigan University Professor Bob Duke is the author of LBJ and Grassroots Federalism: Congressman Bob Poage, Race and Change in Texas. Duke, who has a PhD from Western Michigan University, sat down in November to discuss his book, how Poage and Johnson worked together for Texas. And how they ultimately took separate paths.
