The 2010 "Citizen's United" Supreme Court decision lifted contribution limits to political action committees. A groups of citizens in Kalamazoo has joined a nationwide movement asking local units of government to oppose the decision. Arcadia Brewing has said it may sue Battle Creek Unlimited over the lease on its building in downtown Battle Creek. The two sides have been in a dispute that became public earlier this year, although Arcadia hasn't paid rent on the building since October. Battle Creek Enquirer Reporter Jennifer Bowman says that's one of the few things both sides agree on.
