On WestSouthwest, a Western Michigan University History Professor discusses her book on women in ancient Rome. And some suggestions on Great Lakes policy for President-Elect Donald Trump.

Western Michigan University History Professor Annise Strong is the author of Prostitutes and Matrons in the Roman World. She talks with WMUK's Andy Robins about women in ancient Rome and lessons for today.

Great Lakes Echo commentator Gary Wilson says the November election should be a lesson about making predictions about politics, especially concerning President-Elect Donald Trump. So instead of prognostication, Wilson has some suggestions about Great Lakes policy for the incoming Trump administration.
