Arcus Center Gets New Director

Kalamazoo College

The Arcus Center for Social Justice Leadership at Kalamazoo College has a new leader. The college says it’s picked Mia Henry as the center’s executive director. She replaces former Arcus Center director Jaime Grant.

Henry has experience with many local and national groups working on social justice issues. She’s involved with several initiatives in the Chicago area including Black Space, which helps multi-generational groups working on racial equity. Henry also owns a company that organizes civil rights tours. She’s taught at several universities, including the University of Chicago.

Henry will start her new job at the Arcus Center on August 11th.
