Perrigo says it is acquiring a Belgium-based over the counter healthcare company.
In a news release, Perrigo says it is buying Omega Pharma for $4.5-billion. The company says the acquisition will expand its distribution. Perrigo is incorporated in Dublin, but still has major operations in Allegan.
