Boil Water Advisory Lifted In Kalamazoo

The city of Kalamazoo has lifted a boil water advisory which had been issued last week after a water main break at the intersection of South Burdick and Belmont Streets. 

A news release from the city says sampling confirmed that water in the area is safe to drink. The boil water advisory was issued for as a precaution because of possible bacterial contamination, but the city says water is safe for consumption.
