WestSouthwest: Kalamazoo's Public Safety Chief Talks Successes, Controversies

The community policing model at the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety has brought it accolades in the national media. But the department has had its share of controversies as well, including a 2013 study that showed racial profiling in traffic stops. Chief Jeffrey Hadley says much progress has been made since then.
