A new spacecraft will be on its way to Mars in November to help us understand the planet’s atmosphere.

Dr. Stephen Bougher is a professor of Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Space Sciences at the University of Michigan. He’ll be giving a talk Friday night on the MAVEN mission at the Kalamazoo Math and Science Center at 7 p.m. Bougher and his students as well as other scientists have been working on MAVEN for about 30 years, spanning Bougher’s entire career.
