Chris Ludwa, director of the Kalamazoo Bach Festival Chorus, and Michael Palmer, director of the Kalamazoo Male Chorus, talk about the variety of music that will be performed on Valentine's Day by the two groups.

This includes selections by Claudio Monteverdi,  Moira Smiley, Franz Biebl, Morten Lauridsen, Freddie Mercury, John Lennon, and more. Ludwa explains that the concert takes its title "Love Is Love Is Love Is Love Is" from Lin-Manuel Miranda's Best Musical Tony Award acceptance speech, and that he excused himself from programming only romantic love songs in order to include songs expressing love of faith, justice, and nature. Palmer says that the Kalamazoo Male Chorus is celebrating its 90th anniversary.

The concert, which will also feature appearances by Kaleidesong and the Kalamazoo College Singers, begins at 7 pm at the First Congregational Church of Kalamazoo.
