Environmental officials held an open house Wednesday evening to respond to health concerns within the Otsego community.

Following an online campaign by the local advocacy group Justice For Otsego, the Department of Environmental Quality has begun testing residential wells for contamination.

The testing is focused on potential source areas of pollution, including the Menasha landfill. Test results are expected by the end of the month, with a town hall meeting likely taking place in September.
