Renowned violinist Midori discusses the orchestral residency program she created that brings her to Kalamazoo this week to work with hundreds of young musicians around west Michigan.

She and Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra conductor Raymond Harvey also talk about the ShostakovichViolin Concerto No. 1, which Midori will play Saturday night with the KSO.
