Pacifica Violinist Describes Joy Of Collaborating On Masterworks

Sibbi Bernhardsson, a founding member of the Pacifica Quartet, talks to Cara Lieurance about their Fontana concert featuring two masterworks for solo clarinet and string quartet by Mozart and Brahms. The clarinetist for the performance is Anthony McGill, who recently accepted the position of principal clarinetist of the New York Philharmonic. 

Bernhardsson talks about the Pacifica Quartet's long-time friendship with Anthony McGill. They also discuss the fine line between honoring a composer's wishes and fashioning a unique interpretation.
