Jun-Ching Lin And Renata Knific On 30 Years Of Music-Making, Friendship

Over the past several years, Jun-Ching Lin, the assistant concertmaster of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, has been a welcome presence in the west Michigan region as a performer and educator. 

Most recently, he performed as the soloist in Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 1 in D, Op 19 with the Kalamazoo Philharmonia, then joined the Merling Trio to perform a program of chamber music.

2015 marks 30 years of friendship between Jun-Ching Lin and the members of the Merling Trio. Violinist RenataKnific and Jun-Ching preview a program unified by the theme of friendships. It includes music of Brahms, C. Curtis-Smith, and Dvorak.
