Romare Bearden has been described as the nation’s foremost collage artist. Art Detectives will view a work by Bearden in Legendary Voices: Art for the Next Century, as well as the work of other collagists. After exploring in the galleries we’ll create a collage to take home.

Art Detectives is for children 4-8 years old (but all ages are welcome). Come join us as we read a story, look at art, and make a project to take home! Caregivers must stay with their children at all times. This is a free program, but preregistration is encouraged.
