Daniel Oropeza

Daniel "Dano" Oropeza is Co-host of Alma Latina for WMUK-FM and also Founder of the Adelante Show (2017) a Facebook Live discussion for the community.

Born in Pharr, Texas raised by a single parent from a young age, Daniel traveled to Florida and Michigan to work in Migrant Farmworkers camps. He volunteers in over 30 nonprofit organizations throughout Michigan. He is co- founder of Despierta Kalamazoo Committee, a proud member of the Southwest Michigan César E. Chávez Committee and founder of Impact Visions volunteer in the community.

In 2022 he launched his own landscaping business - Dano’s LLC, In 2023 he became a Michigan Organizer for the UFW Foundation.
