The Kalamazoo City Commission will find a new search firm to help find a new city manager
MLive Kalamazoo reports that the commission voted to end the city's contract with search firm Bob Murray and Associates and reopen the search process. Several commissioners expressed disappointment with the California-based headhunting firm. The commission conducted public interviews with five finalists last week. Commissioners say that all candidates are encouraged to reapply for the position.
Current City Manager Ken Collard is retiring early next year.
