The latest report on the manufacturing economy in West Michigan finds growth continues to be moderate.
The survey conducted by Brian Long, the Director of Supply Chain Management Research at Grand Valley State University, shows most economic indicators last month improved from September. The survey is based on data collected during the last two weeks in October. Long says employment is not as strong because employers are having trouble finding qualified workers.
