The latest survey of business leaders in West Michigan finds economic growth slowed as summer neared its end.
The Director of Supply Chain Management for Grand Valley State University, Brian Long, says economic indicators remained positive last month but weren’t as strong as the numbers for July.
Long says his report for the National Association of Purchasing Managers conducted during the last two weeks of August continues a six year trend of slow growth. But he says it’s unclear what a slowdown in the Chinese economy could mean for the rest of the World.
