The latest report on West Michigan’s economy finds it is flat and has turned slightly negative.
Brian Long, the Director of Supply Chain Management Research for Grand Valley State University, says his survey of area businessesfinds most economic indicators were sluggish for December.
But in his monthly report for the National Association of Purchasing Management, Long says the employment index was an exception, and remained positive last month.
