Every Monday and Thursday morning at 9:20 hear interviews with news makers and other interesting guests. We begin our new schedule by starting our interviews with candidates in contested primaries for Congress and the state Legislature.

Kalamazoo County Commissioner Dave Buskirk is running for the Democratic nomination in the 60th state House district, which includes the city of Kalamazoo.

John Bizon is a physician who recently completed a term as president of the Michigan State Medical Society. He is running for the Republican nomination in the 62nd state House district that includes Battle Creek.

Interviews with other candidates can be heard in the weeks ahead.
