The Kalamazoo Public Library and its ONEPlace Program to support non-profits in the area are starting a program to allow people to present their ideas for improving the Kalamazoo community. The first TED Talk style program is scheduled for February 11th. ONEPlace Director Thom Andrews explains how the program will work, and plans for future presentations.
Two years ago Bridge found that many children eligible for high quality preschool in Michigan could not take advantage of the program. Senior writer Ron French has taken another look after a funding increase by the state. He tells WMUK's Gordon Evans what he found, including the results in Vicksburg.
