Western Michigan University's commencement ceremonies are scheduled for early May. For the third straight year, additional graduation ceremony is being held for LGBT students. Tara Gish works in Online Education at Western and is part of the planning committee for this year's "Lavender Graduation."
Jelena Subotic is originally from Serbia and has written extensively about the War Crimes Tribunal launched in 1993 to try those responsible for genocide in the former Yugoslavia. That includes the book Hijacked Justice: Dealing with the Past in the Balkans. Subotic speaks at Western Michigan University on Tuesday.
