Commentator Gary Wilson says the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality is, in the words of the Rolling Stones, "on a losing streak." Wilson recently wrote for Great Lakes Echo about the agency's lackluster response to elevated levels of lead in Flint drinking water, aging oil pipelines and containing algae blooms. He tells WMUK's Gordon Evans why the DEQ is failing in its role as "environmental watchdog."
