On WestSouthwest, a look back at two interviews that "look back." We hear about the log books that offer a glimpse into the life of a South Haven lighthouse keeper. And the history of baseball in Kalamazoo.

In May, we heard how Western Michigan's University Libraries are converting log books kept by a South Haven lighthouse keeper into a digital format. The books offer a window into the work and life of Captain William Donahue.

The history of baseball in Kalamazoo was the subject of an interview that first aired in June. Kalamazoo Public Library Web Coordinator Keith Howard explained how baseball started and evolved in the city. And he told us how new bits of information trickle in to give a more complete picture.
